- Egg Experiment - Fourth graders learn about the parts of the egg during a lesson in Shelby County. Students see upclose the membrane, chalazae, yolk, albumen and germinal spot.
- Project Wild Aquatic - Teachers learned about wild aquatic life during a workshop held in Shelby County in February.
- Tapping for Maple Syrup - Students in Mr. Tucker's class at Herrick Elementary School get first hand experience in tapping for maple syrup. Mr. Tucker took is classroom to an outdoor setting. Students taped the trees, collected the syrup and monitored their results for 2 weeks.
