Do you know all the ways baseball and agriculture are connected? The truth is, without agriculture, there would be no baseball at all!
Baseball and agriculture are connected in so many ways, from the food we eat in the stands, to the gloves used by the players, to the bat and ball! Illinois classroom teachers can request free copies of our Baseball and Agriculture poster from their County Ag Literacy Coordinator. To extend student learning, have them make their own Baseball Charm to wear while they watch the World Series!
