Education Director
Kevin Daugherty
Kevin Daugherty, director of the Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB) Center for Agricultural Engagement, oversees both the Ag in the Classroom and Consumer Engagement programs. Kevin started his career at IFB in 2000, after working 10 years as a classroom teacher and as a marketing specialist for a publishing company.
Education Manager
Chris Wyant
Chris Wyant is the Education Manager for Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom. Prior to joining IAITC, Chris was a high school English teacher for 14 years. Chris also helps his wife run their small cut flower farm.
Education Specialist
Lee Deal
Lee Deal is an Education Specialist for Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom. Prior to this position, she taught high school agriculture and FFA. Lee can often be found home on the farm with her two boys, her flock of backyard chickens, and the garden and sourdough starter she is desperately trying to keep alive.
