Harvest a Good Time: Engaging Lessons That Get Kids Out of Their Seats

Join Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom for an on-your-feet, collaborative, and interactive session that will demonstrate multiple ways to get kids up and moving while also learning about agriculture, math, and reading for information. Participants will become an apple orchard expert and learn about what it takes to grow healthy trees. And finally, they will collaboratively create an agriculture-themed board game that's fun for all ages. The activities shared are fun, engaging, ag-centric, and easily adaptable to crops and concepts important in your home state.
