Sharing the Buzz on Bees: Helping Students Cultivate a Passion for Pollinators Through Literature

Join Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom as they share information about honeybees, native pollinators, and flowering plants. Lessons, activities, and a hive full of book recommendations will be shared in this interactive presentation. Information on making bee hotels, creating pollinator habitat at schools, teaching students about pollinator anatomy, and expanding students' knowledge of the different types of pollinators will be paired with engaging fiction and non-fiction text resources ready to sweeten your classroom reading.
